A frequently asked question is, "Can we provide a bar for
your catered party? "
No and Yes! Read further;
Due to the unique nature of Colorados liquor laws, a
Caterer cannot have a liquor license for the sale of liquor at off site
functions. Therefore the alcohol for a catered party must be purchased by the
host(est) from a retail liquor store and provided to the party. We can assist in
placing the order or helping to determine the type and amount of alcohol to
purchase.
A west side source that we suggest is Applejack Liquors, in Wheat Ridge Colorado, 303 233 3331.
They will deliver to all of the areas that we work in and will deliver in the
time frames that we require. Applejack Liquors will direct bill any Lifestyles
Catering client.
We then take over, staffing the bartenders and bar packages
to provide a full service catering experience.
What is included in the bar packages?
The Beer, Wine and Soda package has unlimited sodas, ice, plastic cups
and bar equipment and supplies. The
Full Bar Package has unlimited sodas, ice, plastic cups, mixers (soda &
tonic water, orange, and cranberry juice), bar fruit garnishes, bar
equipment and supplies.
These packages are not mandatory; the client can provide
these supplies and equipment with the alcohol if they choose.
However, the use of a Lifestyles Catering bartender is
required. This is to minimize the possibility of alcohol abuse and to discourage
underage drinking. All of the bartenders employed by Lifestyles Catering have been
trained in the responsible service of alcohol, and are able to intervene in the
event that a guest needs to be discouraged from excessive consumption. Additionally
many banquet event facilities will require the the bartender is a trained
employee of the caterer.
